Joel Crump

Joel Crump is Broadway’s youngest journalist. He began his career at age 12 during the pandemic, launching Broadway Time, where he has interviewed leading figures in entertainment, politics, and culture, including Denzel Washington, Angelina Jolie, Robert Downey Jr., Hillary Clinton, Alicia Keys, Samuel L. Jackson, and Kristin Chenoweth. Joel currently covers the New York theater community as a Broadway Correspondent for News 12. Joel has served as a special correspondent for EBONY and Fox 5, and his work has been featured in ABC 7, Fox 5, Variety, New York Magazine, and Playbill. He is the creator and host of The Weekly Dose of Joel podcast, produced by the Broadway Podcast Network.
