Lorna Courtney and Casey Likes to Star in Heathers NYC Return

Tony nominee Lorna Courtney (& Juliet) and Back to the Future star Casey Likes will headline the New York return of Heathers the Musical, stepping into the roles of Veronica Sawyer and Jason “J.D.” Dean.

The cult favorite will play a limited engagement at New World Stages, the same venue where it made its Off-Broadway debut in 2014. Performances are set to run from June 22 through September 28.

Andy Fickman, who directed both the original Off-Broadway production and the show’s U.K. engagements, returns to direct. This upcoming production will be based on the revised version recently seen on tour in the U.K.

Heathers the Musical tells the story of Westerberg High student Veronica Sawyer, who finds herself climbing the social ladder after falling in with the beautiful, but brutal, Heathers. Everything changes when she meets a mysterious new student who turns her world upside down.
