Broadway sparkled a little brighter as illusionist Rob Lake celebrated the opening night of Rob Lake Magic, featuring some of the most beloved icons in entertainment history, The Muppets.

“It’s a dream come true to be here on Broadway,” Lake shared. “It’s what I’ve always wanted since I was a kid, and to get to work with The Muppets is like a dream on top of a dream.”

That sense of childlike wonder filled the theater as Lake, known worldwide for his large-scale illusions and warm stage presence, blended classic Broadway spectacle with the playful spirit of Jim Henson’s creations. “It’s everything I ever wanted and more,” he said. “It’s so electric, so exciting, so thrilling, and it’s like being in a dream you don’t want to wake up from.”

Lake’s collaboration with The Muppets feels like a full circle moment for the magician, who grew up inspired by their lessons about imagination and belief. “We’re kindred spirits,” he said of working with Kermit the Frog. “It’s like I’ve known him my whole life. Having someone who taught you how to believe in your dreams and follow them, and now getting to work with him, it’s wonderful.”

From dazzling illusions to heartfelt nostalgia, Rob Lake Magic with The Muppets invites audiences to rediscover the power of believing, the same message that has made both Lake and The Muppets timeless. For more information visit www.roblake.com/broadway.
